Little River Folk

little river folk is a concert series presented in Petite Riviere NS.

We present high quality musical performances from early spring to late fall, usually taking the summer months off to enjoy all the other great festivals and events around...

2010 is our 5th year of operation, having presented 20 shows and over 60 artists since our fist show April 1st 2006.

Again this year we are happy to be part of the Music Nova Scotia Bringin’ It Home program to encourage venues to present Nova Scotian musicians as much as possible. MusicNS, TicketPro and NS Tourism, Culture & Heritage are funders of BIH.

All shows are presented at the Petite Riviere Fire Hall in the middle of the village, just 12km south from exit 15 on highway 103. We are located near Rissers Beach Provincial Park and the cottage community of Green Bay.

Tickets are $15 if purchased at the door, and $12 if reserved in advance reserve by emailing your ticket - request to littleriverfolk (at) hotmail.com

We are developing a new music venue at the Petite Riviere Vineyard, located just up the river atop Crousetown hill. The Wood, Wires & Wine series features talented established and emerging singer-songwriters from NS and beyond. Keep an ear open for shows at the winery and come out to enjoy one!

from HFX/BW follow hwy 103 west to exit 15, turn left off highway

from YAR/L-POOL follow hwy 103 east to exit 15 and turn right

follow this road (Italy Cross Rd) to its end at a T-intersection. turn left and continue down the hill into the village of Petite Riviere.

turn left at the General Store, the Fire Hall is thebig white building on the river, across from the General Store and Gas Station.
