Psycographics are less definite than demographics, but are probably more valuable to you. Tey deal with how people feel about things, their attitudes and values.
They are presented here on sliding scales, but don’t take that too literally, it’s just a way to get you thinking about what your audience likes aside form music.
You should be getting a pretty good idea of the different aspects of your perfect fan. Of course it will never be exactly right, but this will help you narrow in on the best people to talk to and then lead to what to say to them to let them know why they would want to spend tie and money on you.
The next step will make this all a bit more concrete and give you a description of your audience that you can put into your positioning statement.
